Single-Channel Temperature
Rugged single-channel ground-surface temp logger for 5–15 cm depth, delivering ±0.1°C accuracy and 0.01°C resolution with ~5-year battery life. Stores 500k readings and transfers data via 915 MHz low-power wireless with a USB adapter.
Ground-surface temperature is often measured at a depth of 5–15 cm. Our single-channel logger M-Log5W-SIMPLE-US has been designed for this, rugged (diameter: 2 cm, length: 14 cm) and with 5 years for most applications before a battery change is required.
The platinum temperature sensor in a small steel cap has an accuracy of ±0.1°C (at 0°C) and a resolution of 0.01°C. The non-volatile memory holds up to 500.000 measured values. Data are transferred to a laptop with a special USB adapter via low-power wireless protocol (915 MHz). The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
The specialized version M-Log5W-ROCK-US has its sensor in a 5-mm diameter steel cap with 0.25 m lead cable for installation in rock, usually 10 cm deep.
