The miniature data logger M-Log5W-Tilt-US (diameter 2 cm) has a two-axis digital inclinometer sensor for monitoring terrain or infrastructure deformation. With a tilt-arm setup, it can accurately track ground heave and subsidence.
Two modes can be requested: Full-Range Mode measures X and Y axis fully at ±90° with a resolution of 0.05° (accuracy ±0.2°). High-Performance Mode measured Y axis at ±10° with a resolution of 0.0055° (accuracy ±0.1°) and the X axis at ±90° with a resolution of 0.05° (accuracy ±0.2°). Resolution and accuracy from -20 °C to 20 °C. The non-volatile memory holds up to 500.000 measured values. Data are transferred to a laptop with a special USB adapter via low-power wireless protocol (915 MHz).
